Templates

Templates store reusable message content so teams do not rebuild the same layout or copy for every send.

Template lifecycle​

Stage	Meaning
Draft	Template is being created or edited.
Ready	Template can be selected by campaigns or API sends.
Shared	Template is available to other users or teams.
Archived	Template should no longer be used for new sends.

Good template hygiene​

• name templates by use case, not by date only
• keep footer and unsubscribe handling current
• label templates by campaign type or team
• preview with substitution data before reuse
• archive old versions instead of editing production templates blindly
