Create an Automation Flow

Use this guide to create an automation flow that sends a sequence after a trigger.

1. Pick the trigger

Choose a trigger that represents a clear customer action, such as form submission, label added, or segment match.

2. Add the first send action

Create or select the email that should be sent after the trigger. Confirm sender, subject, body, tracking, and unsubscribe handling.

3. Add wait and condition steps

Use wait steps to avoid sending too quickly. Use condition steps when contacts should receive different follow-up based on behavior or profile data.

4. Set the finish step

End the flow when the contact converts, unsubscribes, leaves the segment, or reaches the last message.

5. Test before launch

Run the flow with test contacts that represent expected paths. Confirm entry, email rendering, timing, and exit behavior.
