Web Push Opt-In
Web push requires visitor permission. The browser controls the permission prompt, and Mailtarget can send only after the visitor accepts.
Opt-in checks
- Explain why visitors should subscribe before showing the browser prompt.
- Trigger the prompt after meaningful engagement, not immediately on first page load.
- Store opt-in status against the subscriber profile.
- Respect browser-level unsubscribe and blocked states.
